Fiona Morris teaches courses particularly the City and Guilds Design for craft, Hand Knit Textiles and general one day workshops on various aspects of knitting at The Mohair Centre in Lewes.
City and Guilds 7922 Certificate and 7923 Diploma in Hand Knit Textiles is taught at The Mohair Centre one Sunday a month.
A new course will start in January 2008. If anyone is interested in this course and would like to attend, a Taster Day will be arranged sometime in October or November.

From July the 1st, Prick Your Finger will dedicate Tuesday evenings to Beginners Knitting, and Saturdays to Beginner’s Knitting and Crochet. These classes are limited to 5 places, and taught by Rachael and Louise.
Beginners Knitting: Tuesdays 7.00pm-9.00pm
A cup of tea, lots of different yarns to play with, and all the basics you need to make you a knitter. This class is suitable for those who have a distant memory of knitting and need refreshing! You get to keep a pair of needles and the yarn you were working with. We will also discuss your ideas and help direct you to the right yarn for your first project.
Beginners Crochet: Saturdays 1.00pm-3.00pm
A cup of tea, crochet hooks of all sizes and lots of yarn to play with, and the skills you need to make 2D &3D circles, squares, and lace patterns! You get a crochet hook and yarn to take home, so there’s no excuse not to keep going! We will also discuss your ideas and help direct you to the right yarn for your first project.

has featured in many books and magazines and she regularly teaches
evening classes and workshop in London. She is now taking bookings for
her knitting workshops in September and October 2007. She runs two types
of workshop and so there is sure to be one to suit you. They are held
in a quiet bar in Ealing

a Sunday afternoon in small groups so you'll get plenty of attention.

All you need to know to get you started! The basics: Cast on, knit,
purl, cast off. Simple stitch patterns.
Next Step Knitter
For those who know how to knit but want to go to the next level.
One workshop will cover 3 or 4 of the following techniques (depending on the
needs of the learners): Cable, lace knitting, colour knitting (fair isle and
intarsia), button holes, increasing and decreasing techniques, how to read
a pattern, finishing/sewing up techniques.
