Beginners Knitting £30: Saturdays 4.00pm-6.00pm
No experience required! If you learnt to knit when you were young and have forgotten, it is possible to re-learn in one class. There are two basic stitches, knit and purl, all the fancy stitches are a combination of these. In this class, we will knit, purl, cast on, cast off and sometimes we have time for ribs and basic colour work. At the end of the class you can either take your work home on the needles or you can stitch your creation onto a fridge magnet, or a broach pin so you can display your skilled work. All materials are included.Beginners Crochet £30: Saturdays 1.00pm-3.00pm
No experience required! This class is an introduction to the world of crochet. Starting by making chains, we will practice holding our work comfortably. Once our fingers and thumbs are effortlessly hooking, we will move into making circles, squares, and the usual un predictable shapes that happen when your learning! Crochet is more sculptural than knitting and hopefully by the end of this class we will have learned how to produce 2D and 3D shapes. Finished masterpieces can be attached to a fridge magnet or a broach pin. All materials are included.Improvers Knitting and Crochet £40: Tuesdays 7.00pm-9.00pm
We believe you can knit anything, and this is the class where we make that happen! If you have mastered basic knitting, or crochet, we can help you design your dream project. Choose from learning; pattern reading and writing, calculating size from tension squares, increasing and decreasing, fancy stitches such as artic lace, intarsia, cable, turning heals for socks, and four pin knitting. In booking this class, we need to know what your project is, so we can research and prepare to give you the most help. All materials are included.
If you are struggling with your stitches or have catastrophic cable come and see us! sometimes a one to one lesson with a cuppa is what you need to nail those problems. You can shedule the time and date call us and we will book you in.
