Moonstone Yarns is situated within The Olde Watermill Shopping Village near the A6 at Barton-Le-Clay in Bedfordshire. Located within an old traditional Watermill, The Shopping Village also contains other shops including a Garden Centre, Farm Shop, Craft Centre, Traditional Toy shop, Formal Dress Shop and large Licensed Tea Room and more. There are also plenty of free car parking spaces for easy access to the centre.
Moonstone Yarns is owned and run by a family of knitting and needlework enthusiasts who provide a warm and friendly environment for likeminded followers of the craft. Along with providing quality yarns and wool, Moonstone Yarns also promotes fair-traded yarns and sustainable fibres from Ecologically friendly and environmentally sound sources.

Alternative Polperro is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Polperro Cornwall, nestled on the south east Cornish coast.
The shop is run by husband and wife team, Wayne & Tracey. We sell a variety of good quality yarns and wools including organic. We have a large variety of knitting patterns and accessories. We are looking to expand these in the coming months once we have found out what our customers preferences are. Hulu is located in the ancient market town of Modbury, South Devon, which has had important links to the woollen trade dating back as early as the Thirteenth Century. Modbury is 12 miles east of Plymouth and 7 miles from the A38. Our offices are just off the main street, very close to two car parks and free on-street parking. Hulu is a family run business that strives to provide first class customer service. Online orders are usually shipped the same day.
We are currently an online retailer selling a wide range of quality yarns and fabrics. A showroom is due to open at the beginning of 2010 where we will be able to hold workshops and welcome visitors.

'Spin A Yarn' is located in the pretty town of Bovey Tracey, which is the centre of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and a gateway to Dartmoor National Park. Approaching Bovey Tracey from the A38, follow the 'Town Centre' signs. At the roundabout by the fire station turn right. Spin A Yarn is at the beginning of town, on the left-hand side of the road opposite the Brookside tea-rooms. There is plenty of car parking across the road in the public car park on your right next to the Old Thatched Inn.
Spin A Yarn’s owner is an enthusiastic spinner, so appreciates natural yarns from around the world in a kaleidoscope of colour. The most common description of the shop is 'An Aladdin’s Cave'. More than just a shop, Spin A Yarn is a friendly place to meet up with fellow knitters over a cup of coffee, sit with your knitting and chat. Cocoon is situated in a busy pedestrianised street off the main street, Church Road in Hove. It is surrounded by outside cafes, a variety of shops, banks and building societies and has a jolly cosmopolitan atmosphere. If you are a stranger to Hove we are 4 roads to the west of Hove Town Hall in Norton Road where there is also a car park. Free parking is available for 2 hours in the Tesco car park which is behind George Street. We have an advert on Yell.com which shows a map of where we are.
Cocoon is owned by a husband and wife team, who have tried to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where people can browse and enjoy looking at a variety of exciting quality yarns, patterns, ribbons, buttons, jewellery, cross stitch and lots more. We are looking to run Knit & Natter groups and are just starting classes & workshops and hope to help people learn to knit in the community, our first project being the local Brownies.

We are located on the eastern side of Portsmouth & Southsea very close to Milton Park Schools, with Milton Park and Bransbury Park at either end of the “village” shopping centre. Easy access from the M27 via the B2030 when approaching from outside Portsmouth. The number 17 & 18 buses drop you at the Co-op in Milton Market which is 20 yds from the shop.
The Yarn Barn is a family concern – 4 generations are involved, all of the younger generations having been inspired by Granny who is now 83. They are all avid knitters and needlewomen. The aim of the shop is to keep up with current trends whilst still providing a traditional service and encouraging the continuity of the craft. To aid choice of yarn and style the shop has an open environment and provides a comfortable seating area to browse patterns and enjoy a tea or coffee and chat.

Yarn is situated in Beeston a suburb of Nottingham. We are about 10 minutes from junction 25 of the M1, 5 minutes from Nottingham University and 20 minutes from the centre of Nottingham. We are located on Chilwell High Road, opposite the end of Imperial Road, half way between the main square in Beeston and Broxtowe (Castle) College. There is some time restricted parking opposite the shop and plenty of free parking on Imperial Road and adjacent streets. We are among several small independent retailers on this road including an Art & Craft shop, a Deli, jewellery and gift shops and an organic café.
Yarn is owned and run friends Alison & Sarah who opened the shop 5 years ago. Located in the historic market town of Fishguard, Janes is situated on the High Street (A40 Fishguard/Haverfordwest Road), on the right hand side where the pavement narrows, just a short distance up from the Square. Fishguard is home to the Last Invasion Tapestry created to mark the 200th anniversary of the last invasion of Britain by the French in 1797
Janes has changed over the years since our mother and grandmother first opened the doors in 1966. Three years ago on our return to Fishguard, the three cottages were completely renovated and a coffee shop added. Visitors are welcome to bring their dogs into our garden, open all year. We are in the old farm buildings down one side of the courtyard. Travel along Scarthingwell Lane, next to Scarthingwell Golf Course off the A162 ‘twix Towton and Sherburn in Elmet.There is lots of free parking, table and chairs to rest your feet, water for the dog, ice cream and tissues for adults and children!
Owned, run and managed by Rachel, a retired teacher who has been knitting for 60 years. The craft shop is one part of the business which sells a wide variety of knitting yarns, craft goods, fabrics, stationery, books, toys and more; the majority well below high street prices. Ongoing advice, support and picking up of stitches by experienced staff. Happy to help and support GCSE, A level DTI and other students.

Our Edinburgh store is located in the centre of the city of Edinburgh.
It is only 5 mins walk from Princess Street (via Frederick Street).
The Stirling store is situated in the pretty historical town
centre. It will appear on your left hand side on your way to visit the
famous Stirling Castle.
The Falkirk store is close to the Main Rail Station (Falkirk
Grahamston Station). Follow Grahams Road to Vicar Road and then turn right
onto Newmarket Street.

Established in 1878 the stores are now run by the 4th generation of the McAree family. We have over 250 yarns and over 2,000 patterns so leave plenty of time to browse. Our Stirling shop has the largest selection.
